On June 5, 2020, our UCSF team launched a grass-roots virtual petition campaign, signed by nearly 400 ophthalmology faculty, residents, and practitioners nationwide, as part of an open letter of support to the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Board of Trustees.
We at That Man May See stand with the UCSF Department of Ophthalmology in support of the AAO’s call to end the use of rubber bullets, tear gas, and marking shots on peaceful protesters and members of the media that can result in sight-altering injuries.
