Deborah Chesky Earns Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) Credential

April 30, 2026

Strong financial leadership is essential to advancing mission-driven work. The All May See Foundation is proud to share that its President, Deborah J. Chesky, has earned the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) designation, a national credential that reflects advanced expertise in nonprofit financial management.

Administered by BDO USA, the CNAP program equips nonprofit leaders with specialized training in financial reporting, budgeting, governance, compliance, and internal controls. The program is designed to strengthen both day-to-day financial oversight and long-term strategic decision making.

Earning the designation requires completion of rigorous coursework, passing a certification exam, and demonstrated experience in nonprofit fiscal management. It signals both technical proficiency and a strong commitment to accountability and stewardship.

For All May See, Deborah’s achievement strengthens the Foundation’s ability to translate philanthropy into impact. As the organization continues to support vision research, education, and patient care at the UCSF Department of Ophthalmology and the Francis I. Proctor Foundation, this level of financial leadership ensures that donor support is managed with precision and purpose.

“As stewards of our donors’ generosity, we have a responsibility to ensure every dollar is used with care and purpose. This certification strengthens our ability to support the life-changing work happening across UCSF Ophthalmology and the Proctor Foundation,” said Chesky.

With this milestone, All May See is even better positioned to deploy resources where they are needed most, advancing innovation, expanding access to care, and accelerating discoveries that restore sight and prevent blindness.
