In August 2022, the medical community mourned the loss of Michelle Y. Peng, MD, UCSF Ophthalmology Resident 2018 and West Coast Retina Vitreoretinal Fellow 2020, after a long battle with sarcoma. Her loss is still felt deeply.
To honor Dr. Peng’s legacy, we created the Michelle Y. Peng, MD, Memorial Lecture. An expert in the field of vitreoretinal surgery or ophthalmology will be invited to speak, with the goal of inspiring other young physicians and surgeons. The event will be hosted by UCSF Department of Ophthalmology and West Coast Retina, two institutions that Michelle cared about and were highly influential to her. Gifts will go toward establishing and sustaining the lecture. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Through the generosity of Michelle’s family, friends and colleagues, the Michelle Y. Peng, MD, Memorial Lecture has received 67 gifts totaling $117,755 – our goal for the fund is $200,000.
As we approach what would have been Michelle’s birthday on Monday, April 29th, we invite you to join us in celebrating her life and legacy by making a gift to support the Michelle Y. Peng, MD, Memorial Lecture. Your contribution will help us reach our goal of $200,000.
Gifts will be accepted on the All May See Foundation’s Donate page – enter your donation amount – under designation, select Michelle Y. Peng, MD, Memorial Lecture from the dropdown menu.
