UCSF Dept. of Ophthalmology and Proctor Foundation Faculty & Alumni Reception

Faculty, alumni, colleagues, and friends of the UCSF Department of Ophthalmology and the Francis I. Proctor Foundation are invited to gather in New Orleans for a special reception during AAO 2026.

The annual reception offers an opportunity to reconnect with the UCSF Ophthalmology and Proctor community, catch up with colleagues and friends, and enjoy an evening together during one of ophthalmology’s largest annual gatherings.

New Orleans, Louisiana

Located in the heart of the French Quarter, Napoleon House is approximately 1.2 miles from the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, about a 5–7 minute drive or a 20–25 minute walk.

The reception will take place in the Emperor’s Room on the first floor and adjoining courtyard. A custom menu has been created to accommodate a variety of dietary needs. Guests are encouraged to indicate vegetarian, vegan, or other dietary restrictions when submitting their RSVP.

Guests may RSVP through the Cordes website using the Pay Cordes Dues / RSVP for Events form.

• Cordes members who have not yet paid their dues: RSVP for the reception as part of the dues form.

• Guests who are not Cordes members: Leave the dues amount set at zero and complete the AAO reception reservation information, including the number of attendees.

• Guests may also RSVP by emailing allmaysee@ucsf.edu.

We look forward to welcoming members of the UCSF Ophthalmology and Proctor community to New Orleans and spending an evening together during AAO 2026.
